Villa Malipiero-Zen-Schiesari

Villa Malipiero-Zen-Schiesari

Conselve (PD)

Villa Malipiero-Zen-Schiesari, currently home to Conselve’s Town Hall, was built by counts Zen of Venice in the first decade of the 18th century, restoring and extending the building that was on the same site: a “wall house” of probable late-14th-century origin. After having several different owners, the building was bought by the Schiesari family in 1892, and became a town property in 1946. The main façade features a loggia with five round arches sustained by stocky columns with an Ionic, stone capital. The main floor features a three-mullioned window located on a small balcony with a stone balustrade.   Address: piazza XX settembre 32, Conselve (PD) Open to the public Info: Comune di Conselve http://www.comune.conselve.pd.it
